Mon premier honorable correspondant est Raph Larry. Voici ce qu’il m’a écrit (traduction en bas) :

He was poisoned to death by his business associates on one of their business trips. Before the death of my father on 27th February 2001 in a private hospital here in Abidjan.

He secretly called me on his bedside and told me that he has a sum of USD$12.5M ( Twelve Million five hundred thousand U.S), deposited in Bank in ( Abidjan Cote D? Ivoire, that he used my name as his beloved son for the next of kin in depositing the fund.

He also explained to me that it was because of this wealth that he was poisoned by his business associates, that I should seek for a foreign partner in a country of my choice where I will transfer this money and use it for investment purpose such as expansion of his existing cocoa business and real estate management overseas.

I have make an arrangement with the Local bank manager here on how best to transfer this money to overseas please, I am humbly seeking for your assistance in the following ways.

1)-To serve as the guardian of this fund since I am
still in the secoundary school with my junior sisters.

2)-To help me to invest this money in a good business

in your country. such like real estate or any one of your choice.

3)- To assist me in providing an account of yours
where this fund can quietly be transferred into.

4)- To make arrangement for me to come over to your
country to futher my education and to help me secure a
residential permit in your country.

Moreover, I am willing to offer you 15% of the total sum as compensation for your effort/ Input after the successful transfer of this fund into your nominated account overseas, while 5% will be set aside to offset any expenses we may incure.

Furthermore, you can indicate your option towards assisting me as I believe that this transaction would be concluded within the shortest possible time if you signify interest to assist me.

Mr Larry a 26 ans, il est orphelin. Son père était dans le commerce du cacao et de l’or en Côte d’Ivoire et au Ghana. Il a une soeur, Chantal, 22 ans. Son père a été empoisonné par un associé au cours d’un voyage d’affaire (comme quoi, le cacao, c’est dangereux ! ). Il est mort à l’hopital, et avant de mourir, il a révélé à son fils (mon Raph) qu’il avait un compte bancaire secret où 12.5 millions de $ dorment, et que son fils (mon Raph) est le légataire des fonds.

Il lui a aussi expliqué qu’il ne fallait se méfier de ses compatriotes, et qu’il vaut mieux chercher un homme d’affaires étranger digne de foi pour investir avec lui dans le cacao ou dans l’immobilier.

Il me demande donc de devenir le tuteur des fonds puisqu’il est encore à l’école secondaire; de l’aider à trouver un bon investissement pour ses fonds; et enfin à mettre à sa disposition mon compte bancaire afin qu’il y fasse transférer l’argent, et l’aider à obtenir un permis de séjour dans mon pays.

Pour ma peine, il m’offre 15 % , plus 5% pour mes petits frais.

Residential permit is not a problem, since we are an open country with our fellow africans brothers, but you will need serious help if you went to invest some money. Don’t worry, I will be there all the time.

Here is what you will need to do. First, you have to send me your complete details (name, date and location of birth, mother and father’s name and profession, a copy of your passport, a proof that you have never been condemned). This is for me to open you an account in my country. I will provide the necessary funds to open this account, but I will need the 5% expense to set up some details in order to prepare all transactions. As soon as I receive your answers, I will give you my Account Number in rder for you to send me the fund. Don’t worry, I will give you some written proofs of all my expenses.

Quand vous serez dans mon pays, je veillerais à ce que vous receviez les meilleures éducations.
